Default Extended Warranty-how much to pay?

I have a 2020 F-150 King Ranch with 3.5L Eco boost on order. How much can you buy the factory extended warranty for? Wondering what others have paid. TIA

Not familiar with prices but I would only consider a contract with FORD only. Not the dealership or in no way a third party company offering service contracts.

I just received a letter saying my warranty was about to end and I should go with the Ford Protect extension. But, no prices! They want you to call so they can have a salesman work on you. Why not just put the coverage and daggone prices and let us decide for ourselves?

Ford Motor Company sells the ESP plan for $XXXX to the dealer, the dealer then increases the price to whatever they want and offer it for that much.
Ford Motor Company themselves will get the same amount of money regardless of if you pay $1500 or $3000 or $5000.
It's the same as buying anything else from a dealer or really any type of store, they pay $XX to the supplier and add whatever they want to make a profit.
I can ask Monday what most cost.

I'm told it depends on the vehicle and the vin is used for pricing but generally its in the neighborhood of $2000.
Also it changes with mileage what is covered so that effects price as well. Above number is for new vehicle.
