Default F-150 2.7 Liter Ecoboost
When the auto start/stop is on is the engine starter actually used each time or is there some other magic used? Thank you for any info.

The engine starter is used to restart the engine.

That must be one heck of a starter! Seems like there would be alot of wear and tear on the bendix and ring gear!

It's a beefed up starter assy and system, supposed to stand up to the increased use.
