F150 cloggy sound when accelerating
My 2000 f150 5.4l recently started to sound as if the exhaust was clogged when i accelerated, however i also notice that the truck was misfiring, i checked to see what cylindee it was and it was P0301 which i fixed that issue after i realized it. Eventhough i fixed that issue when i pit the truck in drive and i press the gas and the truck sounds cloggy and is hesitating but there isnt a misfire, there is no leaks whatsoever i really need help.
I have a video of me driving the truck forward and in reverse because its very hard for me to describe this in words of you want to see that and try to help me please let me know, Thanks.
P.s. all coils and plugs are new

Usually when confronted with a problem like this , the first thing we do is a good visual inspection. From that we can many times see something that requires further investigation.. Since we can't do that at this time we need to rely on what you see and tell us. So,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
How about a little maintenance history ,
What if any maintenance for the past year, was done. Don't be shy , everything that you did or someone else did ..

Maintenance wise im unsure being that i bought this truck not too long ago, it was running fine when i bought it, it has new coils and plugs, and I personally replaced the alternator last week. There isnt any wierd noises when idling, no rattling or grinding etc, no leaks, it just chugs and has poor acceleration and sounds as if it wants to stall whenever gas is given to the truck.
There is no "Check It". You just replace it.
It is a regular maintenance item.
I would like to pass on a little tip that a lot of us had to learn the hard way.
RECHECK EVERYTHING THE PREVIOUS OWNER TOLD YOU AND CHECK FOR YOURSELF.
Do we know if the correct plugs were installed and if they were set to the correct gap ?
You will need a special tool to remove the fuel lines from the fuel filter . Get that tool the same time you buy the filter. Suggest an auto parts supply store, they usually sell the tool.
You need to relieve the pressure in the fuel system before attempting to change the fuel filter. You do this by removing the fuel pump fuse and crank the engine over , it will run for a second or two then run out of gas. Now you can change the filer, but be prepared to get a fuel bath because the line and filter are full of fuel..
When you get the filter off,, keep it level and when you get it out from under the vehicle , tip it so the fuel comes out the way it went in and see what comes out. That will give you some idea if it could have been the problem If only fuel comes out , that is one thing . If junk comes out , you can believe that it either was the problem or it needed to be changed anyway..Don't forget to reinstall the fuel pump fuse. Start the engine and make sure there are no leaks where you worked. If you knew all this , sorry I took up your time.
It just dawned on me ,,,,,,,,,,,,, no converter. What else did he alter?
