Default Fuel Pump 2004 Supercrew Cab

Just trying to find out if I can get to my fuel pump by removing my truck bed if I have the supercrew 4door cab.

I have a full tank of gas and I'm trying to get around having to drain the tank.

Thanks.

You have my sympathy !
It seemed just about every time the fuel pump crapped out was right after filling the tank with fuel.

I kinda recall there was some shielding around the bottom of the tank that had to be removed to gain access to the lines on top.
I don't recall where the pump position was in relation to the front of the bed on a crew cab. You might be able to look where the lines come off the pump and maybe see whether it is behind the cab or in front of the bed.

I believe it held 36 gals fuel.
