My 1996 4.9

I have a 1996 F150 XL with a 4.9L I-6. What can I do for more performance? I have already gone to an aftermarket air filter and a custom exhaust.

I know this question may sound dumb, but just what kind of performance are you looking for, speed , power, economy ? How much $$$$ are you willing to part with to get it?
