Default Please help

I have an 82 F-150. The 4 WD front locking hubs are not engaging. i thought the locking hubs might be the problem. i have looked at 3 different trucks, all with the dana 44 IFS and none of them have the same warn hubs like mine. now i think the culprit might be the rotor (hub) itself. the splines could be worn. (when in 4wd you can hear the axle spinning) i have not disassmbled anything yet. does anyone know if the hubs (rotor, races, wheel bearings) are the same on all dana 44 IFS's. i can get a front end off another truck, just don't know if i can swap hub assembly only or if i need to swap everything. Thanks for any info

there are some small diffs. if you can get a donor go ahead and swap everything its not really any more work and you will know all parts work
