Please help
we all know this to be fact any time you have an engine that over heats and runs really rough or misses really bad you have a major problem on your hands. my guess is this the engines that any auto plant puts together and puts into any car or truck is meant to throw away after it has gotten too damn hot 'cause it usually cracks the heads and or block. Therefore I venture that when his hose popped he couldn't have gotten stopped fast enough to get out of traffic so he could see what happened to his /her engine. meaning that engine is and I mean IS blown!!!! Nobody and even I'm
guilty on this nobody waits until their engine is completely cold before they try adding cold water to a hot motor all becuase we're not smart enough or patiant enough to sit there and wait on 300 or 400 degree engines to cool down.

I ain't tryin' to sound like a smart *** or nothin' but, when someone thinks that if one can squirt oil into the cylenders and see if the comp. comes up after one's engine has gone and over heated for any length of time is gone off the deep end and is trying to learn how to swim after one has swallowed a half gallon of water. This person is screwed and the only hope is that if this person wants to and has a $ or two they might have to look for another engine even if it's a used one from a salvage yard.
i'm so sorry if I sound like a idiot but I've built some engines and a few autos in my time. Sorry Hanky and Greasemark
