I own a 2018 f150 3.5 eco boost and experienced a problem today I was stopped for about 5 min had my foot on brake truck was in drive and the rpm went to 3 and lunged forward leaving marks on pavement where I tried To hold it back with the brake I slammed the truck in park and the rpm went back to normal. Has anyone had this problem? Very scary.

 

Suggest you have the vehicle checked for possible problems with the "Electronic Throttle Control" system. It can happen again and you could be in a worse situation than last time.

 

It's under warranty, I would get it to the dealer ASAP and would not be using it.
