Default warn manual hubs

My hubs went out on my 94 f150, so the 4x4 doesn't work. So I went to O'reillys, and got warn manual hubs, and I was told I have to get the 'spindle nut kit' for auto to manual hub conversion. Who has done warn hubs on their own rig? Do I actually need that conversion Kit?

I put my warn manual hubs in, didn't need the conversion Kit for my truck, the hubs engage just like they're supposed to. But, my 4x4 still won't engage. What's the next thing I should check?

Is the front driveshaft moving when it is supposed to be engaged and hubs not locked?

Hmm..i think so..but haven't actually checked that. But I bought a brand new actuator motor for the transfer case. I'm gonna put it on in the morning and see if that does it for me.
