Default 1997 parking brake cables

Need help.
I have a 1997 F 250 , XLT, Crew Cab, RWD, Short bed, 7.3, Automatic,
I am replacing my parking brake cables.
The intermediate cable I removed is 72 inches long , 6 feet.

Most likely has a bit of stretch in it as I have owned the truck since new and always set the P brake.
All replacement cables I am finding at all the major part stores and Summit at 75 inches in length.

I need to know the factory length so I can have a new one made.

Thanks, Kg

Did you try a few dealerships, there could be later years that use the same length cable.

Yes I have. Not very helpful. They just see obsolete part and bail on me.

I have been to the junk yard and only two wrecks and both are ext cab long beds, but the intermediate cable is also 75 inches

Thank you

One more thing.

In my factory service manual the intermediate cable has a Ford part number of 2A793.

I believe a F7TZ will go in front of the 2A793, but I am not sure.
