I have to pull the batteries to turn it off and the batteries are sparking. I can turn it off also by pulling a fuse relay. any questions or ideas

 

When you say can't turn it off,
1. Can you turn the ignition sw to the off position?
2. If you can, do all the dash indicators, blowers also stop working yes or no ?
3. When you go to restart the engine , does everything feel right with the key sw assy?
4. Was the windshield ever replaced? They were known for leaking and causing problems with the relays .
5.Is there a lot of rust in the area over the parking bake assy ?

 

yes and I can pull the key. when I restart it feels great. no windshield replaced.t

 

Did you look for the rust clue? What about the other questions?
