I just ordered a 2019 F250 STX Crew Cab and I'm trying to figure out what upgrades the XL instrument cluster (particlarly the the screen between the tachometer and speedometer). The salesman can't tell me and I can't find anything on the web or the Ford site. I know I saw the STX with the FX appearance had it upgraded on the lot, but I did not order with Fx.

I would like to have the better display, but I want to know what I'm getting from the factory

Curious why did you order one? Lack of selection at your local dealer? I just bought a new one off the lot, seem to me folks get a better deal if they buy from current inventory. I mean yes i end up with a few options I didn't necessarily want, but i chose a truck with the must haves like Sync 3 and heated seats. The one thing I do like about the STX is the full bench. I ended up with a XLT Premium FX4

 

I ordered the truck to get exactly what I wanted, which was about $ 2000 less on the MSRP to start. The trucks at the dealer just have to many extras that jacks up the price. I also needed the 4.30 gears which is not available from dealer inventories
As for the deal I got, I ended up getting just about $7000 off MSRP with discounts & rebates, which for a lower priced truck I think was a good deal.
The order took about 4 weeks from the time I ordered to receipt

An as for the my original question, it appears that Sync 3 upgrades the Instrument Cluster
