When I turn the key the glow plug light doesnt come on, the key goes foward and seems to have less resistance than before, it goes all the way foward and has a small "springy" return but the engine doesnt turn over. I see a small white / yellow plastic bar moving foward a back when we turn the key. Is it perhaps a problem with that mechanism? Ill try to post a video or picture.

 

Do any of the gauges come alive when you turn the key on?

If not, I would look under the dash at the lower steering column for the ign sw assy. does anything move there when you turn the key to on or start position?

 

Not sure. Im dissasembling the steering now to see whats going on. Cant upload a video.


i dont see anyhthing moving when i turn the key and look on the underside of the steering column.

 

Did you look as far down as next to the brake pedal?

eply Hanky. The pin on the ignition actuator was out. I got an entirely new ignition actuation just in case. But i cant get it back into the slot. The lower part where the pin goes in is too far down in the slot.
