ABS light has been on ever since I bought this truck - previous owner said he did not like the ABS but tried twice to fix it (?) - he may have disabled it in some way though my mechanic neighbor took a look and we can't see why it is not working - all looks in place/OK. checked fuse etc. But the light is still on - any suggestions please? I am about to have new brakes and tires so would really like to resolve this to celebrate!

 

If the lights on Its not working! Thats a good thing, put a piece of tape over the light and let it be
