2004 F350 Diesel factory tow package

No stop/turn on L or R, 7 pin or 4 pin, or in the wire connection located next to the frame rail. Hazrds do not work eith on trailer plug

Running lamps are good, as is my brake controler

Checked the rear ground on the drivers side frame rail, (must remove spare tire) and it was fine. When disconnected all the tail lights on the truck are dim, so it should be obvious if it was not making good contact.

Hmmm: when the rear ground was removed; the aux. lights, which are wired into the trailer "back up light" wire, turned on.

Fuse #6 is good

Front relays under hood:
Relays click normally, switched relays and still mormal sounding. They were pretty warm though

Test light probed the terminals with Left blinker on, Terminal 30 on relay has intermitant power with the blinker on, No power in any other relay terminals.

I do not get power from 12 volt battery charge on 7 pin

Just checked the #30 terminal on the relay under the hood and i do not get constant hot with the ignition on or off.

 

Solved! The wire that go to the fuse panel under the dash came loose. Hooked up the connector and I was good to go. Funny thing was that I still had power to the fuse. Thanks for you help Rob

 

I'm sorry but don't understand pin #30. I have running lights on 7 pin trailer plug, electric brakes but no l/r lights in trailer plug
