Auxiliary Back up Lights

Where are the upfitter switches located?
We need to consider what type lights so we have some idea of the current requirements.
You don't want to go direct from the battery because the charging system can be affected.
If you use one of the present lighting circuits ,we need to keep in mind if that circuit is controlled by a module, it could sense an addl load and shut down because it will be sensing an addl load and in protecting the circuit respond as if there is a partial short in the system.
Today's vehicles have all sorts of protections and we always need to be aware of that.

It will be nice if you could use them, however, what do you need to remove to get to the back of those switches and from there run wires. Don't know if there are already wires available until we look.
If you do need to run separate wires it can be challenging . If there is a module that is connected to those switches , you may only need to run the wiring from the module to the new lamps..Either way you may require a wiring diagram to disclose just how it is set up.
There is an alternative and that is to run your own wires, but that can get a little involved.
