my 94 e250 straight 6 225,000 mi. runing good been using it for construction work since day 1 i noticed a slight smell of anti freeze replaced radiator cap checked for leaks didn;t find any is it possibly the heater core anybody know what else it might be

 

I know it's a pain to remove the doghouse, but that is one of the ways you can eliminate any possibilities from the back of the engine. Also it's good to remove those two screws on the floor and lubricate them once in a while in the event you need to get in there. If you can't see anything like a leak then your suspicions of the heater core are a good possibility.
