Coolant
Don't start taking components apart from the top to see, get a borescope (snake camera) and start from the bottom so you don't need to waste time to remove anything, there should be a total of 6 or 8 freeze plugs, 3 or 4 on each side.
If coolant can escape from the freeze plug (part of cooling system), air as well can enter into your cooling system and overheat your engine, so don't just top off your coolant overflow tank.

If you follow the bolts holding the oil pan, can you see any traces of coolant on either side of the engine ?
If not, could it be coming from the top rear of the engine where the intake manifold is mounted?
A coolant system pressure tester pumped up to no more than15 psi (lbs) should reveal the source.
