Default Cranking but won't start

I have a 1974 Ford F-250. It was running great until a few weeks ago when it took forever to start. Finally it stopped starting all together and just made a clicking sound. I tested the starter and it was bad so I hooked up a new one. Now the truck cranks but doesn't get close enough to start. Any ideas?

It would help if we knew what engine was in the truck, also,
depending on engine, one, two, 4 barrel carb?
With the air cleaner removed can you see fuel squirting into the bore(s) each time the accelerator linkage is pushed to floor, you may have to hold the choke open to see this?
Do you suspect it is flooded, if so, holding the accelerator to the floor while cranking should help clear a flooded condition if everything is adjusted correctly.
Have you had a chance to try some carb cleaner sprayed into the carb to see if it tries to start or not? Do you know if spark is available for the engine to start?
We don't know at this time if there is an ignition or fuel problem. Answers to the above questions should provide some answers.
Forgot to ask , does it spin over fast enough to start, battery condition and cables ?

Thanks. it has a 460 in it. 4 barrel carb. The battery is almost brand new as well as the cables. It cranks fast enough to start. I haven't had a chance to spray the carb. When I push the gas nothing comes from the carb so I'm guessing that's the problem. Fuel pump?
