Default F-250 Radio Problems

I have a 2021 F-250 and I am having trouble with the radio. I have an XLT with the 8" screen. All of the controls on the screen and the screen works as it should. My phone connects as it should. All of my steering wheel controls work as it should. The problem I am having is I have no sound coming out of the speakers. I called Ford and they said that there are 4 parts to the radio. Would anyone have an idea which one of the control modules I would need to replace?

I don't believe it is quite that easy.

What you can verify is; Is there any indication the radio is actually turning on?
Is there any kind of sound coming out of any speakers when you turn up the volume?
Before going any further we need an answer to those questions..

Everything is dead silent in the truck. I can change the channels and change all of the radio functions on the screen but zero sound. There is no fuzz sound or anything.

I don't know which fuse it is, but you can either check them all or look in the specifications section of your owner's manual and it will tell which fuse is for the radio.

Pretty sure the screen and radio are separate fuses.

The radio fuse appears to be fine.

If power is verified getting to the radio, then there most likely is a problem within the radio itself.

Something you should know , the radio is one of the modules in the vehicle network and is important it work properly or network communication problems show up.

Capable scan tool needed to confirm..

By the way , no harm getting second or third opinions.
