Fog Lights
I have a 24 super duty, and I experience occasional fog. I was wondering if anyone has replaced their driving lights with amber lens/bulbs, etc. to use as fog lights. I've looked at the double lights and love to have those but man I can't imagine paying a grand to add fog lights and even those the brightness and quality seem exceptional; I never go off roading and it would likely be waste.
What a lot of folks don't realize is, in fog, bright regular headlamps reflect that bright light right back at the driver and it can be impossible to see 10 feet in front of you.
By installing very low position on front of vehicle, yellow or fog lamps the driver has a chance to see a hazard before it is too late.
There are so many vehicles with super bright head lamps that will be a problem for the driver of that vehicle in fog..
