Default Need some help locating E4OD sensor locations.

I have a 1996 F250 with the 460 paired to an E4OD. I'm getting a flashing overdrive light that I can't seem to get the codes out of with an OBD II reader. I'm going to try and replace sensors. Can anyone point me to a diagram of sensor locations or any other possible solutions for a blinking overdrive light? Thanks in advance.

There aren't that many sensors with an E4OD. What you might consider would be to have the vehicle checked for all codes with a capable scan tool. The cost might be less than replacing a bunch of good parts. There are a few electrical pieces like the solenoid body, manual lever position switch, turbine speed sensor and vehicle speed sensor. Any one of these could cause the OD light to issue a warning. While you are pondering your next move why not check all the plug connections for corrosion ? Green stuff is good in some instances, but not with trans connections.

There should be 2 plugs on the driver's side of the trans ( MLPS manual lever position switch) + speed sensor and one on the pass side for the solenoid body.
Especially if they have never been removed, moisture can get inside the plugs and the wrong kind of green stuff grows in there. It may only involve one pin, but that's how critical the connections are.
