Default power chips/woodgrain dash inserts

Im thinking of getting a powerchip/fuel saver for my 5.4 ltr superduty.Does anyone know if they work? Also are those dash inserts (woodgrain self adhesive )that are available for ford trucks, any good?

Self-adhesive tape is more of a hassle than it's worth in the long run. The powerchip sounds like a good idea. Be sure the savings are not in conjunction with adding other parts to thetruck too so that it works properly (unless you're ready for any such changes should they be necessary).

The molded applique trim pieces that I've seen were VERY nice.. We had a manager here that had an 2001 F250 S/D with the Burlwood kit throughout.. Look really nice, and the fit and cut was excellent quality work.. Looked stock.....

My S/D is running a Diablo Predator Tuner and putting out almost 400HP.. Most of the chips/tuners will yield 'some' extra mileage if the added power doesn't make your foot extra heavy.. With mine, I get at least 1 MPG increase 'maybe' a smidge moreout on the open highway with no load running the tune.. But pushing an S/D through a 'generated' high head wind is about as areodynamic as a brick at speed, and mileage falls back off at close to 80 or more.. And at the very least,, Iget all the extra power/performance at NO loss in MPG...

I like the look too. If you could find a better way of attaching them they'd be a real pleasure to have. Your best fuel milage on a truck or van is picked up by having a good front air dam (preferably one not easily damaged).
