Default Programmed Chips

Bought a new truck and previous owner had a program on it. Does anyone know how we could find out what the program is or how to set it back to factory?

there are 2 ways I know of, the first is to take it to the dealership and have them reinstall the factory program, the second is to buy a programmer yourself, when you hook it up it should say something like unable to program, factory program not available, then it will give you an option to upload the factory program so the new tuner will beable to work on your truck. My truck had a custom tune in it and I had bought an edge tuner, I had to hook it up to a lap top and have it updated, then it let me load the factory settings back up, this was the only way I could use the tuner. hope this helps
