Remote start stopped working plus 2 other
2014 F250 4x4 Super Duty 6.7 L diesel. King Ranch
A litte back info first. Went out to start the truck and as normal the lights came on and click click click, then all lights went out like it was completely dead for a moment but came back on, tried it agaiin and same thing. Found somebody to gives us a jump but his battery cables were not big enough to hold the load. called AAA, they came out and checked voltage in each battery after disconnecting it, passenger side had 3 volts, so they got us going with a jumper box on the passenger side battery. Got home, the next morning checked voltage again after disconnecting and it was 3 volts, so I replaced the battery from one at O'Reilly's. Drove it around and went to Sams club came out tried to remote start it and there was a very loud boom and smoke under the hood but the engine started. Opened the hood and found the driver side battery had exploded, ripped the seam at the top. Drove it to O'Reillys and they replaced the battery and checked all voltages all is good . Now my question, since all that happened I have no remote start from either fob, the DEF tank heater has thrown a permanant code and the Windshield washer stopped working. Can these systems be flashed or reset ? Or any ideas ? thanks

Batteries on vehicles like yours (2 Batt) should always be replaced in pairs.
If you are going to try a forced reset, you need to disconnect the ground for BOTH batteries ,go have 2 cups of coffee, An hour later reconnect the grounds and see if you got rid of the gremlins.
The place that sold you the batteries should be able to tell you if you need to notify the PCM the batteries have been replaced or you could wind up overcharging and ruining 2 new batteries.
