Stuck socket cylinder 5

2003 f250 super duty xlt v10 had a spark plug shot out in the #5 cylinder went and got Dorman repair kit started to install the hellie coil and the socket is stuck inside the cylinder any ideas on getting it out .

I hope you mean the cyl head..

PB Blaster a quality penetrating oil should help to loosen the socket.What size drive , 1/2 in or 3/8 drive ?

Yes cylinder head 3/8
