Default Wire harness question 2017 F-240 King Ranch

I have a 2017 King Ranch. Purchased a new Ranch Hand Horizon rear bumper. The new bumper came with a replacement licence plate 2 wire light like this.
To install this I would have to cut off the factory plugs and splice the new light wires to the factory wire. I am very reluctant to cut the plugs off of the factory wire harness. Does anyone know of an adapter to connect to the factory wire harness?

Welcome to the site..
No need to cut the connectors off.

You could use a few small spade/pin type wire connectors and make a couple pigtails, using dielectric silicone both coating the connectors face and when inserted into OE connector (imaged above) to protect from corrosion. Possibly a non hardening sealer used in the connector cavity with the wires inserted.Tape/tie the wires backwards against the OE harness.
Or, you can use 'wire taps' T taps etc, that cover over the original wire/s squeeze and pierce the insulation and add a splice point for the new circuits to your lamps. A replacement service connector with pigtail is available if you ever had a need.. However the connection is made, use a corrosion protectant to keep the connector contacts out of the elements..

Thanks! I think I found a solution. I ordered some of these.

I will solder the wires from the licence plate lights to the female terminals (terminals on the lower left picture), fill the cavity with epoxy, and plug into the factory harness. Hope all works.

T taps, Scotchlock splices are cheap, available at any parts house, and an easy way to tie into the excisting harness/circuits. Simply hinge the tap over the OE wire, and crimp. The T-tap uses a spade connector to insert, the Scotchlock uses just another wire layed along side the OE and crimp it closed..
