Default Grinding

I changed the struts on my 07 Ford 500. The drivers side went fine....however after changing the passenger side a few days later now the car grinds when going in park. It grinds for a second then goes in gear. Never had transmission issues prior to this

Can you clarify some of this a little?
Did you have any problem getting the pass side axle /cv joint back into the wheel hub?
Are you sure the axle nut is tight ? You do realize those nuts are supposed to be replaced once removed?

Not clear on; going into park , the vehicle is stopped , yes/no?
When you say goes into gear do you mean it finally goes all the way into park and holds the vehicle?
Can you remember if you might not have the pass side half shaft all the way into the side gear of the trans ?
