The only real concern I have with my 2005 Ford 500 is the transmission. It just doesn't seem to be shifting right. I had it in when I first bought the car in July 2005 and they had to adjust some computer setting. Every time you start out in the morning there's no power, its like its slipping and then grabs. Its now Jan and its starting to do the same thing.
I can also notice a rumbling sound when I put it in gear and I know this can't be right.
I'll take it back to the dealer but I'm not looking forward to that trip. They seem not to be able to handle the 500 and unfortunately that is where I purchased the car.
Outside of that we love the huge interior and it seems to handle very nicely.
