Check my Post # 2 above and just buy the battery monitor, a must have for anyone who owns a car.

You want to narrow the issues down and make sure your alternator is charging your new or old battery. Even if it's new if it's not charging properly the new can be defective, don't assume it's new and it must be in good condition.
Before you buy the battery monitor, use a jump starter like Noco GB50 or higher everytime you start the car and narrow things down.

Check Post # 2 again I mentioned OBDLink MX+, just buy it, and keep it if you like it. With it, no more guessing, you can tell what's going on with all the live parameters, if you really want to troubleshoot the issues yourself it's a good investment despite a steep price.

Did get a code today. PO106 during the warmup phase of the saga…It’s a MAP sensor problem. Where is it on the 3.0 V-6 five hundred engine.Or do I even have an MAP sensor. If,so, could this affect the problem I’ve been having.?

So check and see if you have EGR System Module (ESM) or not, you probably do.

Number 10 on the diagram above. Zoom out views below near throttle body and the firewall, could be difficult to get to.

Your MAP is integrated into the ESM and it might be possible to disassemble the ESM apart and clean the individual components at your own risk. ESM with so many different components integrated into it, is probably very costly to replace, perhaps $500 to $1000 and since it's a module you more than likely need to program it. Laptop w/ Windows + Forscan + Vlinker FS required if you want to DIY it. Vlinker FS has 18V FEPS support required if your vehicle is 2007+ but since yours is 2005 you don't have to buy Vlinker FS but then it's inexpensive so just buy this adapter if you want to program ESM or any other modules in the future if you own a 2007+ car.
Of course download and follow the Pinpoint-DM.pdf first.
Don't forget to buy the battery monitor and OBDLink MX+ first I guarantee you won't regret. The P0106 not sure what scanner you using, you need MX+ to retrieve all the Ford's specific DTCs, all the non-P0xxx, and non-P. The pinpoint-DM test mentions that you need to troubleshoot all the other DTCs before you get to P0106, if you don't have a scanner capable to retrieve all possible DTCs you can have no check engine light, one P0106 and 50+ non-P0xxx and non-P DTCs you are not even aware of when they don't trigger a check engine light.
