How do you replace a burned out trunk light bulb and what is the size . Owners Manual doesn't even mention it.

 

A good part of the time the bulb will either twist a 1/4 turn counterclockwise and pop out or possibly just pull it straight up and out.Since you didn't supply any type description of just what your vehicle looks like with the trunk light it has , that doesn't give us much info since they are not all the same. Is it covered with a lens, in which case you would remove the lens and then the bulb. Some owner's manuals will list the lamp numbers and what they are for in a list in back of the manual.

 

It's a 2005 Five Hundred. Rectangular light with plastic lens that can't seem to get off. Tried with screwdriver but started to crack. Online Ford parts sellers show a whole light assembly. Wonder if it's a sealed unit.
