Default 2010 focus transmission issue

Girl friend has a 2010 focus that is having an issue.

Car will not shift out of low gear and turns on wrench light indicating a problem in the computer.

There is no retrieveable code. When the car is turned off the problem corrects itself for about 3-5 days and then the sequence returns the car will not shift out of 1st or 2nd gear.

Any Ideas of possible repairs. I am thinking shift solenoid. She has taken it to three different shops including a ford dealer with no luck.

What is possibly happening is the problem is not happening enough for the computer to turn on the C/E- MIL . It could probably cause it to come on if the ignition was never turned off and allowing the computer to reset itself. As you know by this time the dealership won't consume a lot of time chasing down a problem they cannot duplicate and therefore can't verify it has been corrected.
What you may need to do is, if possible after the problem takes place, get it to the dealer without turning off the ignition. I know it's not always easy to do , but sometimes this is what has to be done, can you do that?

It may be occured by a error in the ECU and trasmission control chip. Try next method: open your hood, turn out the "+" contact fron your battery, wait for 10-15 minutes, and then, take it back, then turn the ignition on, and strat the engine, and try to ride. If the problem will go away - congratulations!
