i am in need of a oil tube and dipstick for 1996 ford explorer, v8, eddie bauer. mine rusted and of course broke when taking off. have ordered a couple with them promising would fit my explorer and never does. this one is 18 inches , with a curve so really probably measures like 22 in. can anyone help me with this issue?

 

As long as you know the length and design, you probably could get one at a salvage yard.
Have you considered that yet?

 

yes but the ones i have found were pretty rusted out
