I’ve got a 1991 f-150. I recently did some ignition work to it and replaced the ignition actuator that was broken. While working on that, the battery had died, ended up replacing that. For about a week every once in a while it would chug to start and finally decided not to start all together. Yesterday I replaced the alternator, and tried to jump the battery, and even went as far as replacing the battery again, still no start but it would click. I started it with a screwdriver on the starter solenoid, so I replaced that again and now I have no crank, no start, no lights and no click. I’ve tried to start it at the solenoid since replacing it and it will crank and die. I’m at a loss, any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Please explain , what you mean by , "Ignition actuator" ?

What kind of test equip do you have to work with?
Meter ,, test light?

What was the original problem ?
