2012 Expedition ABS Control Mod

Angry 2012 Expedition ABS Control Mod
Hello, I was wondering which of the units is more apt to go bad - the Electronic part or the pump? I My dash is lit up like a Christmas tree and according to my mechanic I need to buy both. Well, the pump is quite pricey!
