Exclamation 2012 f350 6.7

New here, Truck will not start unless I press the brake pedal down, wrench light on, ABS light on engine light on, No P.R.N.D1.2.3 light showing on dash. when driving truck runs like it's in 5th gear or limp mode, backup camera does not come when in reverse. Thanks for your time.

We start with the simple things first. Check all the fuses, engine compartment and inside vehicle.

Thank for the response Hanky. I checked the fuse box in the engine compartment I don't believe I have a fuse compartment in the interior.

There should be a code in the vehicle computer that could lead to the problem area.

After shutdown the code could be getting erased and the problem goes away , but when the problem is picked up again , the system to protect components goes into limp mode.
There is a function called "Freeze Frame" where the vehicle retains the data stream info and the tech can see where readings become irrational. That is the best way to pin down the source of the problem.

Best if you have a qualified shop verify the cause and replace the trans control module , IF NECESSARY.
