2013 Escape not starting after battery disconnected
This all started with brake lights not working. Tried bulb, fuse and brake pedal switch. No go. Read somewhere that disconnecting battery for 15 minutes could reset "brake light bulb fault" message. After doing this, I now have "engine fault service now" and "Hill start assist not available" messages on instrument panel and vehicle will not start. Also, temperature displayed on audio system display is -40F (it's June and quite warm) and the compass shows North and the car is facing due West!🤣
Has anyone here experienced anything like this or have a solution! Thanks!
