2014 eco boost battery dies every 2 days
Hello Everyone,
Anyone might know why my battery dies every 2 days if I don't drive my truck? I checked the battery cables multiple times. I bought a new battery and it lasted about 5-7 days before it started dying again. Now it dies
every 2 days if I don't drive it.
I turn off the radio, the air and all the lights that I can find as well as making sure all doors are shut tight. Yet it still is draining. It will hold a charge if I drive the truck daily. it's just when it sits for a couple days.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Evidently the vehicle has what we call a parasitic drain.
The method to pin it down is somewhat lengthy and involves voltage drop testing. You can find some videos on U-tube demonstrating the procedure if you want to go that route.
If you need time to decide, just remove the battery negative cable when parking it for a few days . When you want to go ,just hook up the battery cable and it should start with no problem. If it does not get back to us.
