Hello, I have a 2010 Ford Explorer Sport Track with 100,000km Long story short, it is at the dealership and needs a new PCM. This is no longer available as a new part and the dealership is having a hard time finding a replacement. I may havw found one, but my question is - does the serial number from the PCM need to be an exact match for a successful replacement? had same issue found car computer repair online they are a complete rippoff. do youself a favor buy a new one then get key programmed at dealership or locksmith for about 160.00 . car computer exchange will prolong repair then tell you warranty expired
