cruise control

Default cruise control
1 have a 2011 ford f150 it does not have cruise control on it. can it be added. i though all i had to do was add a new switch with cruise control and have it programed. but the dealer said thats not correct.

You will need the controls for the throttle linkage, electrical wiring to cancel cruise if brake is applied , speed monitoring from speed sensor, etc.
Hope those allow you to see more of what is involved.

thanks i saw on several comments that all i had to do was put a new switch with crusie control on it. and have it programed. several said they have done it
