65 F100 short wheelbase. Looking to replace rear brake cables and I'm only finding one length approx 40" which is currently on there and too long. I ran into this year's ago replacing cables on a 76 F250 crew cab that needed shorter cables and couldn't locate any. Internet search Not turning answer up for me. Anybody got a parts list showing two different cable lengths? other than left and right?

If you cannot locate cables of the correct length,
there are little adapters you can apply to the cables that will take up some of the excess length,depending on just how much you need to take up.

 

I think I know what you're referring to. It's not the inner cable that's the problem...its the outer casing that's too long. Thanks for the thoughts tho.
