Question 2006 Ford Freestar AC

So, we got our 2006 Ford Freestar about a year ago now. The A/C quit putting out cold air, but our heater works perfectly. There are multiple things that we can and have looked at however we cannot pin point the issue. We are sure we need to replace the PCM due to a drop in acceleration and shifting issues at time but what do we look at to get our A/C back on track?

This a 4.2L Engine btw.

With the hood opened, when you turn the A/C on does the A/C clutch engage and stay engaged? Also, if the A/C compressor is running, does the return line (lines if equipped with rear A/C) get cold? If rear A/C equipped, does the rear A/C work OK? If so, then it's probably your front blend door actuator.

Had opposite issue with my 04 Freestar. Here's the link to what I found and did to fix mine. https://www.fordforum.com/forum/ford...t-front-31500/

It may or may not be your problem, but it's worth looking at.
