I have 2004 FREESTAR, it does not start at all, dealer told me the PCM is wet, so it shoud get replaced. The part number they told me is 4F2Z-12A650-GG.

However, I search online, and talked to the guy in the junk car yard, all they have from 04 FREESTAR part number is 4F2A-12A650-GF or GG.

So, I just wonder does FORD changed PCM part number recently?

Check with autoparts stores if there are more than one variety of PCM out there. Calling the parts department of another Ford dealer may help too.
