Default Problems after recall repair

I had my 2004 Ford Freestar lose acceleration on the highway. That was 2 days after I got the recall notice on the torque converter. I'd not had any problems prior, except for an oxygen sensor replaced a month ago.
Had it towed to Ford dealer, they read code as Mass Airflow sensor, diagnosed as air filter bunched up and sensor needed cleaned. Ok, $135 later and TWO WEEKS for the recall repair, I drive it off.
Check engine light comes back on, and it's not running as well as pre-breakdown. It bucks at 45 mph and 75 mph with 3-3.5 rpm (like quick acceleration to get on the freeway or up a hill).
I take it back, it's an EGR code and they say that maybe they just forgot to clear the codes? So they reset it and I drive off thinking maybe they're right.
Light comes back on, same bucking and they say to bring it back in and they'll take a look. This is my ONLY car for my family and I'm nervous they're not dealing right with me, ESP. After it took 2 weeks last time! Any ideas/thoughts?

Take it to an independent shop who you can trust.

Talking Problems after recall

i had the same problem, i now have lights going on and off, traction control, abs, ford wont tell you anything, i think theres is something wrong with their computers cause everyone has problems after them, well at least they told me one good thing, i had a misfire on cylinder 6, but they never told me a plug was loose, did tune up myself, they wanted $700+ for that, i told them "you gonna let me live in the shop? thats my rent!"
