Front brake calipers ???
I just got new tires and had an alignment done. As part of the service, they informed me the front pads were getting thin and should be replaced soon.
Here is my dilemma ... Back when I did the rear brakes, I ended up having to buy new calipers because the pistons need to be turned back in and not just pressed back in. The calipers had arrows on them BUT, does the arrow indicate the direction the piston is rotating out with wear or the direction to turn the piston back in? I am at a loss here as, I tried both with the rear brakes and couldn't get either back in. I would like to replace the front pads without having to replace the calipers.
Any fool-proof suggestions here would surely be considered.
