Default Smoke From Glovebox? 2011 Fusion

Hello there, my mother went to the store today with the AC on blast. She said suddenly the vents stopped blowing and she smelled burning. Turned off the vents then smoke started pouring out from behind the glove box. I pulled the glove box out to check and see if there was any scorch marks or any evidence of anything electrical and didn’t see anything. Coolant level is fine, AC drains like normal. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Sometimes we need to allow the smoke test to go on for a minute more.BUT,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, remove the glove box and be ready to shut everything off , now watch where the smoke originates.
