hey installed a good starter in my ranger and all it does is whine I have taken it out 4 times to check but I don't believe it is making contact with the flywheel what's the easiest way to align the starter when no shims are needed

 

 

Make sure you received the correct starter because a starter for a manual shift is different from a starter for an automatic..
