Default Hard to Start - Idles Fast

I have a '95 Ranger with a 2.3L engine. It starts easily when cold and seems to run fine. If I stop and have to restart the engine after it is warmed up it is hard to start and then idles very fast for about one minute. The check engine light is on but I don't have a scanner to read any codes. I feel like it some sort of sensor. Does anyone have any ideas on what to look for?

Thanks,

You can start with looking for a vacuum leak. Check all vacuum hoses especially the PCV hose.
