Default re-gearing 94 ranger 4x4

I have a 94 4x4 ranger 3" lift on 33"s and my low range does not work. So I was thinking, sense when I get into deep mud or a steep hill climb my truck just bogs down even after new exhaust( wich made hardly ANY diffrence in power at all) I would regear my truck. But i cant find any places to get a price. Does anyone know what it should cost to regear my ranger, Would it be cheaper to fix the low range. and are there any sites on the net that sell gear kits..? also everyone keeps telling me to run a cold air intake but with mudding im worried about getting mud/water on the filter and into the engine... how hard is it to make/buy and install a snorkel. and how do I prevent water from getting under the distributor and cutting the engine off or making it run poorly. any special kind of distro covers etc......

Default RE: re-gearing 94 ranger 4x4

Call this place "Drivetrain Warehouse 1-800-269-5903" they have front and rear kits with master install kits for $429.99, the magazine I have is about 4 months old so the prices may have changed. I have not found any company's that make a snorkel kit for the Ranger, I have seen someone make one. Go to "therangerstation.com", go to "technical Library and then look on the left side of the screen and you will see the heading "oil filters/ air filters / snorkels, I thought about getting an ARB Safari Snorkel for a Ford Courier(Australia's version of the ranger) and using that set up, but you wouldnt be able to use the engine components( the courier is a 2.5 liter) you would have to fab the under the hood stuff yourself.
