Won't start!!

Ran out of gas now car Ford Sport Trac 05 will not start!!!!! Any thoughts? What should I be looking for?

Was it towed, or bumped hard? Do you hear the fuel pump run for a few seconds if you 'bump' the key in the crank position..

was not towed, ran out of gas and we reset the fuel pump and it still won't start.
